PRODUCT MANUFACTURING PROCESS

THERMOMECHANICAL TREATMENT
The basic process of TMT  steel bar manufacturing is Thermo Mechanical Treatment and we use one of the most advanced TERRAVATAGE technology (based on Turbo Quench Technology). It helps to maintain a higher standard in production.

TERRAVATAGE TECHNOLOGY
TERRAVATAGE technology is based on Turbo Quenching Technology. Through turbo technology, the rolled hot bars are rapidly quenched by a specially designed water gush spray system. This helps in hardening the surface of the steel bar to an optimized depth for each section through the martensitic rim while the core remains hot.

SUPERIOR BONDING
MASCOM Fe500D TMT Bars specially developed for extra bonjding and strength. The specially designed ribs with the help of advanced CNC machines provides excellent bond with concrete for a secure long-lasting structure.

EXCELLENT RESISTANCE
MASCOM Fe500D TMT Bars have 15% more strength, ductility, balance stiffness, elongation value, and fatigue to overcome the seismic load on the TMT bars.

HIGH CORROSION RESISTANCE
We use corrosion inhibitors in our TMT Bars the delay the corrosion period for a much longer time.

WELDABILITY & BENDABILITY

MASCOM Fe500D TMT steel bars can be welded with out pre or post heating without losing the strength at welded joints. To do so we kept the carbon percentage for better Weldability, Ducttility and requires less effort for bending and re-bending.

HEAT RESISTANCE
MASCOM Fe500D TMT steel bars are tested in a specially organized lab to make sure that it can resist heat up to 500℃ without losing the strength.
